Biazzo Dairy Products, Inc. was founded by John
Biazzo and John Iapichino, Sr., current Chairman of the Board and President.
Today the company is still run by John Iapichino, Sr., his wife Anna
Iapichino (Biazzo) Treasurer, and his two sons John Iapichino, Jr., Executive Vice
President and Joseph Iapichino, Secretary and Plant Manager.
The company began in 1964 with a small manufacturing facility about 500 square feet behind
an Italian salumeria in Paterson, New Jersey. Our cheeses were made and sold the
same day to local Italian salumerias and retail stores.
Then in 1965 the founders moved their manufacturing company to larger space in
Passaic, New Jersey. The company started to service local supermarket chains with
private label ricotta and mozzarella cheese, and started to distribute it's products in
the metropolitan New York area.
Due to the overwhelming demand of the Biazzo brand ricotta and mozzarella cheese, in 1993
John Iapichino , Sr. and his family moved their manufacturing operation to a modern 58,000
sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Ridgefield, New Jersey, where the company currently
produces its premium ricotta and mozzarella cheeses.
Today Biazzo is a manufacturer of a premium line of all natural ricotta, mozzarella, fresh
mozzarella and specialty Italian cheeses. Biazzo currently services customers
in four segments, Retail, Foodservice, Food Ingredients, and Co-packers for other Italian
Cheese companies.
Biazzo's corporate headquarters, manufacturing, sales, and distribution facility is
located in Ridgefield, New Jersey and services all segments of its customers nationwide.
